This build gives you the ability to deal with Shields, Armor, and biotic Barriers. The second build has points in all 7 powers but only has 3 maxed powers. The first build specializes in 5 maxed powers. There are two possible squad point distributions in which no squad points are left over. Powers with 4 ranks in them should also be evolved into the option that increases damage the most. With the theme all about damage, it’s best to take advantage of that by using the powers that increase weapon damage or do direct damage to enemies. The number of available bonus power choices depends upon the number of related achievements being completed most of these achievements relate to securing the loyalty of a particular squadmate.The Assassin specialization features increased weapon and power damage as well as a better time slow down when aiming Sniper Rifles. Once bonus powers have been unlocked purchasing Advanced Training is not required to gain a bonus power on subsequent playthroughs as this can be done in the character creation process for a new character, or the previous bonus power will be carried over if starting a New Game+. Shepard may only have one bonus power at a time. The only way to allocate zero points to a bonus power once one has been unlocked is by using the Retrain Powers research project.
Any squad points invested in the previous bonus power will be free to redistribute to any power with the exception of one point that will always be assigned to the newly-trained bonus power. Re-purchasing the Advanced Training research project allows Shepard to select a new bonus power at any time.
